Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) is a general-purpose interior product, manufactured in a variety of sizes & thicknesses.
FSC certified MDF is available in both standard & E-Zero moisture resistant panels.
MDF is an engineered wood product, manufactured from pine fiber & resins compacted together, which makes its surface free of knots & grains which makes it an ideal substrate for decorative surfaces to be laminated to.

Plywood is constructed of wood veneers bonded together to produce a flat sheet. An extremely versatile product, plywood is used for a wide range of structural, interior and exterior applications.
At SLQ we are able to laminate a variety of decorative surface to this substrate including:
Ultra Gloss Acrylic Sheets / Clean Touch Laminate ( fingerprintless finish) / other laminate products as specified / vinyl foils etc. The glue used to bond these to the plywood is PUR (Polyurethane) and ensures an extremely good bond also an extremely good resistance to water and moisture of any kind.

Particleboard is a three-layered board with fine particles on the surfaces and larger wood flakes in the centre that creates a tight compact panel that can be machined cleanly. It is a cost-effective alternative to MDF.

This lightweight, waterproof and extremely adaptable PVC product has a large range of applications.

Another feature of Versaboard is that it does not require any specialised cutting rooms or areas on commercial building sites, unlike other products such as MDF.
This solid coloured product is a cost effective and easy to fabricate (cut, nail, drill, glue and join) solution for a multitude of applications. Versaboard can even be recycled and its easy to apply paint, laminate, veneers, or vinyl adhesives.
